How to unlock bootloader of Xiaomi Mi A1
DownloadsFirst of All Download & install ADB & Fastboot Drivers on Your PC/Laptop
1- Download the Minimal ADB and Fastboot on Your Laptop/PC and install it, it will be installed on the following folder by default : (C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot) whenever you need to use any ADB or Fastboot Command You can head over the this folder and Just Press & Hold Shift Key And Right click somewhere in the empty space and it will ask you to Open command window here or open powershell window here, just click on that and it will open a command window, or powershell windows, i would suggest you to Create a Desktop icon of Minimal ADB & Fastboot app, so that you can easily open that app and execute some comman commands like oem unlocking and some other commands.

Note: Open Command window will be appear on Windows 7 and 8 Devices where Open Powershell window will open on Updated windows 10 devices.
2- You Laptop/PC must have Android drivers installed on it.
Now Just Open the Minimal ADB app by clicking the App shortcut or go into the installed folder which would be C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot and Press and Hold shift key and right click at the same time somewhere in the empty space to open the prompt and click on open command window here or Open Powershell window here, as i have told earlier.
After this it will open a command window.
Now Take Your Xiaomi Mi A1 and Go to Settings >> About Phone then tap on Build Number 7 times and it will enable the Developer Option on Your Mi A1, now go back and open the developer option and Enable the OEM Unlocking and switch of your device.
Now you have to boot your Mi A1 into fastboot mode, just press and hold volume down + power button simultaneously for up to 5 seconds and it will show you a bunny and also you will find fastboot mode written over there, it means that your Xiaomi Mi A1 has been booted into fastboot mode, now you have to connect your Mi A1 Using your original Mi A1 data cable, and follow the below instructions which is commands actually, to unlock the bootloader of Mi A1
the first command would be to identify that weather your Mi A1 device is recognized by your laptop/PC or not
the command will be:
fastboot devices
Now when you hit enter, after writing the above command it will show you some random string it means that your device has been recognized by your laptop or PC, now move on to the next step which is the final part of unlocking the bootloader of Mi A1 device.
now run the following command
fastboot oem unlock
and hit enter.
Now it will wipe all your data as I have told earlier, and when you Boot your device it will take a bit time and also it will show a warning message that - your device software can’t be checked for corruption, please lock the bootloader bla bla bla, just ignore that.
